Olive, Mabel & Me
We may be well into the second lockdown, but it seems readers are not without some entertainment from the first – we have seen fantastic sales of Olive, Mabel & Me, by Andrew Cotter. The eponymous Olive and Mabel rose to Twitter fame during the first lockdown, with sports broadcaster Cotter putting his talents to use in commentating on the activities of the two Labradors. We can see the audio version being especially popular due to Cotter’s own distinctive narration – an excerpt posted by him on Twitter has already garnered a huge response. Social media marketing has had a great impact on sales, and with authors becoming more involved, we’re hoping that this kind of engagement will become much more popular!
