Sell your eBooks direct
The Firsty Group is a Berkshire-based digital services company. We have recently launched a set of direct-to-consumer (D2C) packages that enable publishers to sell eBooks directly to readers without the need to go through the major online retailers. The major benefits for publishers include:
- Readers won’t be sent to an eRetailer’s home page, where they can become lost searching for a specific eBook title
- The checkout page will carry the publisher’s brand image, so it will look as though it is part of the publisher’s website, not an add-on
- The publisher will retain the contact details of all purchasers for future marketing, special offers, newsletters, etc.(which otherwise are retained by eRetailers)
- The publisher will receive a substantially larger proportion of the sales revenue (80%) selling direct from their site, using our technology
- Our D2C packages range from Standard, costing a publisher as little as £50 per month, to Premium and Enterprise, both based on open-source platforms that make them robust, easy to manage, flexible and future proof.
With these packages comes the option to use our eBook distribution service. We can arrange for publishers to distribute their eBooks to more than 100 eRetailers (including Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and Sony). This distribution service can be stand-alone, offered to publishers irrespective of whether or not they take up any of our D2C packages. Also and very importantly it applies only to eBooks, and does not compete with print book distribution.
As a print book distributor, you might not yet have developed an eBook distribution solution for your clients. If so, we would like to meet you to discuss how we might work together to provide this service. We will be attending the London Book Fair next week. If you could spare 15 minutes during the Fair to meet me or one of my colleagues, do call or email.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
